Our club
FORMATION
The Wembley Football Club (WFC) entered the Western Australian Football Association (now the Perth Football League) in 1927. We are one of the oldest and most successful clubs over that time with the second highest number of Premierships (57) of all clubs in the Perth Football League (PFL). The PFL consists of 73 Clubs and over 12,000 players.
A CLUB FOR EVERYONE
The WFC has over 250 playing members competing across 7 teams catering for all levels of ability, experience and backgrounds.
- Colts Football – caters for male players under the age of 20 to transition into Senior Football. Players must be at least 16 years of age to participate. We have one Colts team in the 2025 season participating in the Drew Banfield Colts division.
- Senior Men’s Football – Caters for male players of any age to participate. We have three senior Men’s teams in the 2025 season participating in the B League, B Reserves and E1 – North men’s divisions.
- Senior Women’s Football – Caters for female players of any age to participate. We have two senior Women’s teams in the 2025 season participating in the A League and A Reserve women’s divisions.
- Integrated Football – Caters for players with an intellectual disability to participate. We have one Integrated team in the 2025 season participating in the WA All Abilities Football Association.
FACILITY (CLUB ROOMS)
Our Facility (Club Rooms) is located at the Wembley Sports Park on the corner of Hay and Selby Streets, Jolimont. Our Facility is recognised as one the leading facilities in the PFL.

The WFC operates under the constitution of the Wembley Athletic Club (WAC).
WAC incorporates:
- Wembley Football (both Senior and Junior Football)
- Wembley Districts Cricket (both Senior and Junior Cricket)
- Wembley Veterans Football
- Wembley Netball, and
- Wembley Basketball
